The Woven Dream

Our film “The Woven Dream”, a piece of Lockdown Theatre tells the story of Terence MacSwiney, the Lord Mayor of Cork’s Hunger Strike from the perspective of three women: his wife Muriel, his mother-in-law Mary Murphy and Muriel’s friend Geraldine Sullivan.

We created this piece because we were unable to stage our full length play ‘Muriel’ because of the COVID Lockdown. We may stage this next year (2021) COVID restrictions permitting. “The Woven  Dream” film is available to view here.
