Festival of New London Irish Plays will take place at the Lion and Unicorn Theatre, London NW5 and the Bread and Roses Theatre, London SW4. From Tuesday 20th February to Saturday 17th March. We will be performing three plays in rep.
Rehearsals will take place on weekday evenings (18.00- 21.00) and weekend days during the period 8/1/2018- 19/1/2018. The commitment per play is likely to be two evenings and one weekend day per play.  As Green Curtain theatre has been set up to produce new work that tells the stories of the Irish diaspora in the UK, we particularly welcome applications from actors who have an Irish heritage. This is with the exception of Ruth in the play “Cable Street” where we would welcome applications from actresses whose heritage is Jewish.

We would like all actors to send us a self tape (audio) of their reading a passage for their character from the attached file. We are not looking for anything fancy just something recorded on a phone will be fine.

All tapes should be sent to by Monday 4th December 2018. The audition speeches can be found in the file below.
